Living conditions of leprosy colonies are pathetic. There is no safe drinking water, no clean hygienic toilets, no electricity, no roads, which is leading to poor hygiene and health of persons living in these colonies. To address this, Deep bore wells were installed in ASHADAN colonies of Bokaro, Jharkhand and Ramnagar & Premnagar colonies of Patna, Bihar to provide safe drinking water.
140 Solar lanterns and 5 solar streetlights were provided in ASHADAN colonies of Bokaro, Jharkhand.
A library for school children is also provided in ASHADAN colony of Jharkhand.
