Purpose of Research Advisory Committee
NLRIF’s research portfolio has been growing over the years. Since mid 2023, the portfolio is being headed by Head of Research & Knowledge Management. There is need for a research advisory committee (RAC) to help NLRIF carve out a research niche for itself. The studies may be on relevant health and social topics around leprosy, allied skin NTDs and disabilities.
The RAC will be supported in its role and functions by the NLR India’s Team, under the guidance of the CEO, NLR India, and the Head, Research & Knowledge Management, NLR India acting as the focal point/ coordinator of the Committee. The RAC members will be chosen for their research and programmatic expertise.
