At the Biennial Indian Association of Leprologists (IAL) National Conference of Leprosy that was held from 6-7th January 2024 at Bangalore, Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Dr. Suchitra Lisam, Head, Research & Knowledge Management from NLR India attended and presented NLR India’s key research studies. Dr. Ashok Agarwal made an oral presentation on the protocol of study titled “PEP++ stop transmission of leprosy”. Dr. Suchitra Lisam made an oral presentations on abstracts namely “perception of health officials & frontline workers on PEP App for improving Leprosy post exposure prophylaxis (LPEP) service delivery”, “Active case detection through systematic surveillance for contacts of index cases” and “Comparison of sustained and standard clarithromycin on reporting adverse events under PEP++ study”.
