NLR India team comprising of Dr. Ashok Agarwal, and Rajasthan team attended the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) along with Dr. Vijay Laxmi, State Leprosy Officer (SLO), Rajasthan on 30th January 2024, the Anti-Leprosy Day 2024, where the film “SHUDDI” a work by Mr. James Higginson (director/producer) was screened. At the prestigious platform, Dr. Vijay Laxmi, and Dr. Ashok Agarwal addressed the audience about leprosy and promoted acceptance within society. Their impassioned speech shed light on the misconceptions surrounding leprosy and emphasized the importance of embracing those affected by it as integral members of our community.
